Experiencing Egolessness Frees from the Futility of Egoism!

The Blessed Buddha once said:
What, Ananda, is the experience of no self, egolessness, & impersonality?
It is when the Bhikkhu considers thus:
The internal eye & all external visible forms are no self & neither me nor mine!
The internal ear & all external sounds are no self & neither me nor mine!
The internal nose & all external smells are no self & neither me nor mine!
The internal tongue & all tastes are no self & neither me nor mine!
The internal body & all touches are no self & neither me nor mine!
The internal mind & all mental states are no-self & neither me nor mine!
In this way he dwells in the experience of the egolessness of these six
internal and the six external sense sources as just receptors & inputs.
This, Ananda, is the experience of no self, egolessness, & impersonality!

The 6 internal sense sources are like an empty village: There is nobody home!

They are just like doors empty of identity or self or what belongs to a self.
The 6 external sense sources are like village robbers: They attack the senses!
They are just like objects empty of identity or self or what belongs to a self.
