The Blessed Buddha once said:
Pandito sīlasampanno,
Sanho ca patibhānavā,
Nivātavutti atthaddho,
Tādiso labhate yasam.

Worthy, wise and virtuous:
Who is wise and virtuous,
Gentle and keen-witted,
Humble and amenable,
Such one may honour gain.
