The Power of Insight Purifies
Mind!
In what sense is insight a power?
Understanding impermanence, it is not disappointed by expecting endurance!
Knowing suffering, it is not excited, even when experiencing sense pleasure!
Comprehending no-self, it is not deceived by an apparent, yet imaginary ego!
Apprehending disgust, it is not obsessed by the delight of the adored
object.
Appreciating disillusion, it does not get addicted, when influenced by
greed..
Recognizing ceasing as peace, it does not get hooked on any form of
arising..
Realizing relinquishment, it is not perturbed by any panic induced by
clinging!
Insight does neither waver, nor hesitate, as if when blinded by ignorance...
This penetrative comprehension is neither indecisive, nor ever
vacillating as if
when in serious doubt or confused by uncertainty. Thus is
insight a Power...!!!
